	Women Orthopaedist Global Outreach www.wogo.org (WOGO) is a 501 c 3 not-for-profit volunteer medical service organization led by six fellowship-trained female orthopaedic surgeons including, Doctor Jennifer Cook. As a team of Operation Walk, WOGO is dedicated to providing free surgical treatments for patients in developing countries that have no access to life-improving care for arthritis or other debilitating bone and joint conditions. We have seen first hand the power of joint reconstruction surgery to transform the lives of those who suffer from arthritis, the most disabling chronic disease in the world. We seek to help those living with arthritis and disability in under-served global communities where survival and income is almost entirely dependent on manual labor. WOGO and Doctor Jennifer Cook’s 3rd outreach trip will be to Peru, where the need is overwhelming, and will take place on October 12th, 2012.
